1997 Jenke Vineyard Barossa Merlot

A very soft easy drinking red - the sort that is very conducive to in depth discussions - its enjoyable and won't distract you from your line of thinking. The nose displays delicate spice and mulberry aromas with some vanilla overtones. The palate has weight but not power. Ripe fruit flavours with hints of spice liquorice and mulberry. Very soft tannins, with spicy liquorice aftertaste. Enjoy over the next 2 years.
