Expect this to go fast. Douglas Laing have done it again with a bargain Craigellachie aged in a Sherry butt from September 1995 to September 2016. An all natural whisky bottled at 51.5% Alc./Vol., the total outturn was just over 500 bottles. Check the dollar value of official distillery bottlings of similar ilk and you'll realise just how well priced this is. The Laings say to expect a vivacious malt packed with home baked spiced fruit cake, plus subtle smoke and hints of treacle. Very limited stocks.
