Wow! Look at the amazing colour on this natural strength beauty! Reportedly a Miltonduff with pronounced Sherry input and massive flavours. According to the bottlers: "Creamy yet spicy with clove, orange peel, and a subtle trace of leather. Charred oak flavours develop and lead to a hint of brazil nut on the finish." Distilled in 1994 and bottled 2016 by G&M with zero chill filtration and maximum ABV.

Rarely seen except as an independent bottling, Miltonduff (est. 1824) is a large operation, now under the ownership of Pernod Ricard. Much of the production is reserved for the Ballantine's blends. Six pot stills are employed, and two Lomond stills (originally used for the the lightly peated 'Mosstowie' whisky, reportedly no longer produced). Whiskies marketed as Miltonduff are unpeated. Typically a combination of American oak and x Sherry casks are used for maturation.
