1990 Cadenheads Small Batch Glendronach 23 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Glendronach, over two decades old, cask strength and well under $300. It's a dram that many have traditionally considered the great rival to Macallan, only this example is 100% ex bourbon oak matured. Sherry heads can now experience another side of Glendronach.

In Mark Watt's words from Cadenhead, "Nose Chocolate brownies; green chillies; lemon meringue pie and lime zest. Palate short crust pastry, freshly mown grass, almonds and honey. Finish Brown sugar, coffee beans, granita and custard creams."

Distilled 1990 and bottled in 2013, only 534 bottles were produced.
