Tasting note: Distilled in April 1984, matured in an American ex-Bourbon cask then bottled in mid 2020, this supremely well balanced Cameronbridge offers a giddy combination of estery fruitiness and grainy sweetness on the nose. Seamless and luscious in the mouth, what it lacks in complexity it makes up for in persistence and sheer elan. Toblerone chocolate bar, muscovado sugar and sweet dried fruits... finely tannic oak is just beginning to encroach.
