Tasting note: 'Cristalinos' are the latest trend in premium tequila. They're matured in American oak, then charcoal filtered to remove any colour. Tierra Noble's is a multi barrel blend selected from the distillery's best stocks. The result looks like a Blanco but tastes and smells like a Reposado; Subdued agave mingles with dusty oak on the nose, following through in a light bodied, silky delivery with waxy agave flavours, low key spices, zero burn and a brisk finish. Don't go looking for punch or complexity. This is very understated. 40% Alc./Vol
