Thorn Clarke Sandpiper Brut Reserve

This sparkling wine has been made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The gas pressure in this bottle is a touch excessive. Short, creamy mousse, coarse bead with little persistence. Apricot pink base wine. Aroma of winter strawberries followed by a touch of spice, yeast lees and sherbert. Creamy texture with the acidity being on the high side. Simple biscuit flavours emerge on the palate with some nougat characteristics evident. Crisp acid finish.
