$659.88 Dozen
ABV: 40%

A pot still gin using botanicals such as Australian Lilly Pilly (Riberry), Juniper, Angelica root, Orris root, Citrus peel, Caraway , Coriander, Aniseed Myrtle, Elderflower, Mistletoe, Passionflower, Shepherd’s purse and others. The delightful pink hue is also a contribution from the Lilly Pilly fruit. *Bottle shot indicative only.

Tasting note: Crystal clear with a pale pink blush. Sweet and perfumed - sort of in the Old Tom style. Pleasing scents of candied citrus peel combine with hints of anise, ginger, coriander, juniper and pine sap. A creamy entry leads into a semi-sweet mid palate featuring citrus peel, hints of juniper and pepper. Concludes drier with a juniper and pepper aftertaste followed by a fairly brisk grapefruit like fade. Disjointed yet quaint. Gets better the more time you take with it. 40% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Fragrance: Clear variety style, juniper berries, citrus, raspberry, blood orange, tangerine, pink grapefruit, berry-like, somewhat plum-like. Taste: Typical aromas, juniper berry base, somewhat drop-like, banana-like, dried forest herbs, orange peel, raspberry, sour cherry and peach appeals, mint, rose blossoms, slightly yeasty, somewhat astringent, good length.
RATING: 91 points - Gold Medal - World Spirits Awards 2013 (www.world-spirits.com).

Silvery pink color. Aromas of watermelon, dried cassis, and honey syrup with a soft, dry light body and a warming dried tropical flower, chalk, chewed mint gum, berry granita and peppery spice finish. Odd and not gin-like at all.
