Svensk Citron Lemon Flavoured Vodka (700ml)

Svensk Vodka was founded in 1996 after the prohibition of private companies from producing spirits was repealed in order to bring Sweden in line with E.U. regulations. As such, Svensk is the first private producer of spirits in Sweden since 1917. The flagship product is Svensk’s “Lake Vattern Vodka” which forms the basis of each of the flavoured versions. The design of each bottle is influenced by Swedish minimalism, inspired by Lake Vattern and the Swedish light. Svensk Citron Vodka was awarded with BEST IN CLASS and a silver medal in the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2005.

Tasting note: Clear. Delightful aroma of lemon meringue pie over lemon peel. A round entry leads to a medium bodied palate with cordial-like flavours of sweet lemon and lime. Clean citrus aftertaste. Straightforward, nevertheless, a good example of the style. 40% Alc./Vol.
