Southern Lights Vodka (700ml)

Produced by Hellyer's Road Distillery in northern Tasmania, who also produce some of Australia's best whiskies.

This vodka is made from barley, triple pot-stilled and charcoal filtered before being cut back with Tasmanian rainwater.

Tasting note: Soft, gently warming nose yields subtle aromas of lemon peel, citrus oils and icing sugar. Very soft palate entry. The warm tingly spirit carries semi sweet flavours of meringue and lemon peel with a clean, silky, creamy mouthfeel. Very faint aftertaste of lemon and icing sugar. A straightforward, though pleasant everyday drinking vodka that's a cut above many of the massed marketed imports. 42% Alc./Vol
