2007 Maxwell Wines Mount Bold Chardonnay Viognier

Colour: Vibrant pale-straw. Bouquet: Ripe citrus and stone fruits, with a hint of freshly-cut rockmelon. Palate: Deceptively full-flavoured yet with a light, zesty appeal that creates a balanced and refreshing white wine. Flavours of melon and grapefruit intermingle with a touch of mandarin to provide a lively palate and a delicate dry finish. Ageing potential: Drink now to enjoy all the youthful crispness and fresh flavours. 13.5% ALC/VOL

Palate:  It is a smooth, flavoursome and elegant wine with a lingering crisp finish which is enhanced by the judicious use of quality French oak during the wine’s maturation.Ageing potential:  This wine will improve for the next 3-4 years and then age gracefully for another 3-5 years. 13.5% ALC/VOL
