Soleil Cremant de Bourgogne Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut

A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay which spent 12 months on lees. Good white creamy mousse showing moderate hold with pale gold base wine. Very fine and persistent bead. The nose displays lifted scents of citrus, baked bread and yeast lees followed by grapefruit and brioche end notes. The palate delivers a refreshing flavour profile of citrus and grapefruit followed by some yeasty baked bread characters and a touch of toast. Clean crisp dry finish with an almost creamy like mouthfeel. Aftertaste of yeasty baked bread, citrus and toast.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2012-2014).
