A superlative partner to the Rare Tawny and Tokay.
The grapes for the base of this wine were harvested in 1983 at the incredibly ripe Baume of 36°. Very deep sienna brown colour with deep olive green hue. The nose is magnificent with very distinctive aroma of toffee, honey and raisin cake followed by old brandy end note. The palate delivers on every expectation of the nose. Powerful flavours of spicy spirit over complex layers of honey, toffee and raisins. Perfect balance and exceptionally long aftertaste of honey, toffee and raisin cake persisting.
Deep mahogany-brown; olive rim; a mix of almond, smoke, spice, rose petal and raisin; a Joseph's coat of flavours; dances in the mouth, the finish lasting forever.
