Seppelt DP 90 Rare Barossa Tawny (500ml)

This is an extraordinary wine by any measure.

The Seppelt Show Tawny DP90 is regarded as a benchmark tawny port having won 230 awards including thirty trophies and 115 gold medals since 1968. The Tawny was originally blended from Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvedre. Deep onion brown colour with deep green olive hue. Superb nose of caramel and very fine spirit. The palate delivers an explosion of flavours, walnuts, rancio and caramel are wonderfully integrated with the fine old brandy. Exceptional length followed by an equally exceptional aftertaste of honey, rancio, old leather and walnut. A sensational experience.

By common consent, the greatest Australian tawny, but with no similarity whatsoever to Para Liqueur.  Superb, scintillating length, balance and harmony; so much finesse with so much flavour.
