Scheer Velier 14 Year EMB Plummer Tropical Aged Cask Strength Rum (700ml)

These fascinating Scheer-Velier bottlings were originally released as comparison sets (Tropical and Contintental aged bottlings). The concept was to showcase the differences between Continental versus Tropical aging. As the name suggests, they were created in collaboration between Dutch independent bottler 'Scheer', and Master Blender and renowned rum guardian and advocate Luca Gargano of Velier.

Aged entirely in tropical Jamaica and composed of a blend of ten casks distilled in 2006, two casks distilled in 2004 and four casks distilled in 2002, this is part of the Plummer (EMB) category of rums produced by Monymusk distillery. With an ester content of 324.5 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol, expect a complex, extroverted and deliciously generous rum. 69.7% Alc./Vol.
