Rain Vodka is made from corn grown on Fizzle Flat Farms in Yale, Illinois, one of the few farms growing organic grain in the United States on a commercial scale. To achieve its exceptional smoothness, Rain Vodka undergoes a rigorous production process, including quadruple distillation and filtration through activated charcoal and diamond dust (the costliest form of filtration in the spirits business).
Tasting note: The sweet corn aroma right after the pour is enticing, clean, and soft; aeration further stimulates an appetizing corn-like sweetness. The palate entry is more bittersweet than the aroma, but just as seductive; at midpalate there’s a focused lead-pencil taste that brings the grainy sweetness into check.
