Now moving onto the fifth batch of Jura from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, with a rather cryptic label that takes inspiration from George Orwell's 1984. Ardent fans will recall he wrote the book on the island while living in modest dwellings and suffering through the weather. The image references the island's considerable deer population. We love these carefully aged Juras that typically boast a stunning mix of honey, light malt, tropical fruits, distant peat and coastal complexity. Batch #4 was a run of 198 bottles at 48.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
