Tasting note: Made with Venezuelan cacao and Mexican vanilla and based on a 19th Century recipe. Pours a thick, glycerous translucent sienna brown with fat legs. Jam-packed with aromas redolent of fresh cocoa, vanilla bean and hazelnut chocolate; follows through with a luxurious cocoa / dark chocolate and subtle marzipan profile in an extraordinary thickened-cream delivery that raises the bar for the genre.
