Blended from young wines and matured in large oak casks, this is ready to drink now. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted marzipan top notes are followed by liquorice, toasty oak and spicy brandy spirit. Rich and densely concentrated the mouth is filled with luscious liquorice, Morello cherry, marzipan and spicy brandy spirit which imparts some heat on the finish. Fine grained tannins. Lingering aftertaste of ripe Morello cherries, liquorice, marzipan and brandy spirit.
