Stefano Lubiana Pinot Chardonnay Brut

An impressive Sparkling from Tasmania.

Since Stefano’s ruffle with Veuve over his yellow label, the colour of the label has changed to a deepish mauve red however, the quality of the wine remains very high.

This Sparkling wine pours well with heady mousse, supported by fine, very persistent bead. Straw coloured base wine. Top note of yeast lees followed by biscuit with a light lemon end note. Creamy palate texture. Flavours of yeast lees, biscuit and winter strawberry. An elegant style, fuller than an aperitif, yet not quite full bodied. Clean finish. Long aftertaste of creamy lees.
