"In spite of a terrific winemaker at Rockford, Chris Ringland, I had a hard time understanding the non-vintage Black Shiraz. For $90 US, one gets an elegant, tart, fresh but essentially one-dimensional wine with little depth or complexity. I don't know if the bottle I had performed poorly or whether this is typical, but certainly this seems out of character for Rockford and Chris Ringland. "
