Rene Geoffroy Expression Brut Champagne

Produced from blend of 50% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay.

Pale straw colour base wine opening with a white creamy mousse and very fine persistent bead. The nose displays classic Champagne aromas of biscuit, yeast lees, baked bread and cashew followed by some lemon end notes – an excellent sniff. The palate is rich and full bodied with mouthfilling flavours of yeast lees, freshly baked bread and citrus followed by some cashew and a hint of honeycombe on the back palate. Creamy texture with clean crisp finish. Long aftertaste of yeast lees, biscuit and cashew.
Drink now or cellar a further 2-3 years (2011-2012)
