A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier aged for up 18 months on lees. A frothy mousse shows good hold slowly subsiding to reveal a pale straw coloured base that’s finely threaded by a persistent bead. Aromas of citrus, pear, yeast lees and subtle toast are trailed by some chalky mineral like notes. The crisp refreshing palate is characterised by citrus, pear and yeast lees flavours which meld into a delicate toast and almond back drop. Finishes dry with an airy chalk tinged aftertaste.
