Mannochmore's heavier distillate lends itself to finishing in a cask type equal to its nature. Portuguese Port barrels have been employed for this expression. Creamy on the nose, with a dollop of boysenberry jam adding further richness but more straightforward and malt-focused on delivery with medium-bodied flavours of dried berries, vanilla, cream tea biscuits, sprinklings of white pepper and milk chocolate through the aftertaste.
