This impressive sparkling wine was made by Alain Le Prince, a Frenchman who settled in the Hunter Valley in 1973.
Medium full mousse with moderate persistence. Very fine, very persistent bead. Straw coloured base wine. The nose reveals top notes of biscuit and yeast lees, followed by cashew. Creamy palate, with flavours of nut, yeast lees and nougat delivering a good flavour profile. There is a hint of winter strawberry on the back palate, with a creamy finish.
