This long discontinued iteration of the Hennessy Library Decanter series was probably released in the early to mid 1980s. Exclusive to the duty free market, they were dedicated to those who like to take their time savouring life's pleasures, such as the joy of collecting fine books - and drinking cognac! Of course, the charming presentation contains no actual books, only a decanter of Hennessy. This design is based on examples set during the prohibition years in the USA, when many consumers used to cut out the pages of old books so as to hide bottles of their favourite Hennessy.
