A Californian take on classic European amari. Ingredients include local poppies, orange, lemon, grapefruit, bearberry, bay leaf, pink peppercorn, dandelion, blessed thistle, burdock, rue, artichoke, gentian, geranium and cherry bark.
Tasting note: Brilliant amber topaz. Dazzles in the glass. Appealingly bittersweet aromas of grapefruit, gentian, dried herbs and bay leaf. Follows through with a balanced, mildly bittersweet delivery including citrus peel and gentian to finish. Try it in a Negroni or Manhattan. 20% Alc./Vol.
