Duval Leroy Brut Champagne

Pours with a frothy white mousse that holds well. A very persistent and exceptionally fine bead threading its way through a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold edgings. Pear, citrus and yeast lees aromatics combine with baked bread and subtle brioche notes. Quite creamy and airy in its feel the palate is layered with baked pear, yeast lees and citrus flavours with some bready characters and oily toast like nuances in the background. Finishes crisp with a long lacy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
