Dingle Gin (700ml)

There are so many awards shows these days but the WGA is one that really matters. Dingle Gin was awarded World’s Best Gin and World’s Best London Dry at the 2019 World Gin Awards.

The explosion of the Irish gin market in recent years has seen the launch of more than fifty brands in Ireland and twenty gin producers, with 12 new brands introduced in 2018. Dingle is leading the pack! Made using a grain spirit base and thirteen locally grown botanicals including rowan berry, juniper, fuschia, bog myrtle, heather, chervil, hawthorn and coriander. These are macerated in the spirit for 24 hours prior to distillation, then boiled with the vapour passing up the still through the 'flavour' basket. On the nose, there's nuances of lavender, pine and citrus blossom, as well as coriander seed and pepper. The style is full flavoured, textural and super fresh with creamy, mouthfilling flavours of orris root, lemon sorbet, ripe juniper, chamomile and peppery / piney / herbaceous notes through the finish. It's a London Dry boasting both power and complexity. 42.5% Alc./Vol.
