The nose shows early evidence of drier styled juniper and an appealing earthy/stony mineral quality accompanied by rosemary and white pepper heat; later inhalations are herbal-fresh, deepening and intensifying with citrus oils and crushed pine buds. Entry is creamy, deceptively soft; mid-palate flavours build with an oily texture and a slow crescendo that sees the earthy-root elements take flight alongside bursts of pepper, fresh grapefruit, orange zest and sustained juniper. Fades cleansing, long, earthy and complex. 58% Alc./vol.
