The mousse is impressive, creamy mauve mousse. Medium sized bead, with modest persistence. The base wine is medium bodied, with deep crimson brick red colour. Aroma of spice, plum, prune and stewed fruit, followed by a hint of leather. The palate reveals flavours of ripe plum, raisins and leather followed by a peppery back palate. Creamy texture. Aftertaste of plum, spice and black pepper.
