Cadenhead's Old Raj Spiced Gin (700ml)

Cadenhead's have been making Old Raj gin since 1972 . Its slight yellow tint is due to the addition of saffron, added post distillation. New for 2018 is this spiced version, and what a fresh, exotic gem it is! Juniper, Pink Peppercorn, Orange, Almond, Cumin, Coriander, Cubebs, Rowanberry and a dash of Smoked Paprika make for a unique gin experience.

Tasting note: Clear. Intense juniper with warming spices...peppercorns, saffron and coriander seed to the fore with time the glass accenting paprika heat and light citrus. Feather light on entry, but builds with a dramatic burst of pepper, paprika and coriander over a piney/earthy juniper base. Very intense, with excellent length. Strikes a nice balance between heat and more traditional gin notes. 55% Alc./Vol.
