Brocard Pierre Tradition Champagne Brut d’Assemblage

Made from a blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Blanc and 5% Chardonnay sourced from the Celles-Sur-Ourge village made up of 75% 2020 vintage base wine and 25% reserve wines. Pours with a frothy mousse which holds well over a pale straw pale gold coloured base that has an energetic bead streaming through it. Yeast lees, baked bread and citrus aromas flood the nostrils with hints of ginger and chalk also evident. Tense and invigorating, the palate has a focused flavour profile of baked bread, citrus and yeast lees overlaying a subtle oily toast like back drop. Dry chalk tinged finish with crisp sculptured acidity.
