Bay of Fires Tasmanian Cuvee Pinot Chardonnay Brut

This sparkling pours with a good white creamy mousse that shows good hold. Pale straw pale gold base wine colour. Very fine and moderately persistent bead. The nose displays yeasty top notes followed by some grapefruit and citrus. The palate possesses a creamy mouthfeel with flavours of yeast lees and cashew followed by some baked bread and roast almond characters on the back palate. Clean crisp finish with aftertaste of yeast lees and roasted almond characters.
