2024 Best's Great Western Foudre Ferment Riesling

Lime, pear and green to red apple skin flavours over a subtle honeysuckle, mandarin and flinty mineral back drop with slightly tangy acidity.

Made from juice with extended skin contact and wild fermented in large oak foudre. Brilliant water like colour with highlights of green around the edges. Pronounced lime and green apple skin aromas have a subtle smoky overlay with some citrus and wet slate notes also evident. Lime, pear and green to red apple skin flavours are featured over a subtle honeysuckle, mandarin and flinty mineral back drop. Dry to off dry finish with slightly tangy acidity and a nicely shaped conclusion of ample length.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
