2023 Harewood Estate Flux-V Denmark Pinot Noir
Richly fruited and supple on entry with a savoury finish that’s laden with clove and spice.
Semi translucent red colour with a light red hue. Spicy dark cherry and strawberry aromas infused with dried clove emanate from the glass followed by some rhubarb and smoked meat notes. Rich dark cherry and strawberry fruits make a supple entrance with some rhubarb, dried clove, spicy earth and bramble elements ensuing. Silky smooth tannins with a savoury finish that’s laden with clove and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

A fine Pinot Noir from the Denmark region of Western Australia and well packaged, love the label. The colour here is a crimson/garnet with a sapid nose of florals, redcurrants, rose petals, mushrooms, aniseed and liqueur cherry notes with hints of undergrowth. A cushiony texture, quite seductive, with silky tannins and immense length complemented by some cleansing acidity on the finish. Now for the next half dozen years. Drink 2024-2030.

Ken Gargett – WinePilot.com
One stylish young Pinot, marrying the right amount of weight and richness with elegance. Attractive summer fruit basket aromas in red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant with lifted dried flower florals and spice. A fine almost delicate rendition of Pinot Noir: upfront, red fruited and spiced with textural qualities, before finishing on a sour cherry, morello cherry note. Woodsy spiced oak provides the pulse of this enjoyable, easy drinking wine. More of a short-term as opposed to long-term proposition in the cellar. Drink 2024-2028.
