2022 Tscharke Shiraz Shiraz Shiraz

Certified organic with maturation taking place in French oak (10% new) for a period of 12 months. Deep dark red black core with a bright purple red hue. Intense dark plum, liquorice and black cherry aromas jump out of the glass followed by some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper notes. Rich succulent dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits flow seamlessly across the medium to full bodied palate. Juicy feel with notions of spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth lying underneath. Polished tannins finishing fresh, fleshy and peppery.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Three times the shiraz in the one bottle! Not exactly. Three different Marananga vineyards from three different generations. That's very cool indeed. Super-juicy fruits of plum, boysenberry and blueberry with layers of spice, earth, purple flowers and some distant dried herbs. Pure and medium bodied, tannins super powdery and some nice crunch to the acid profile, finishing blue-fruited and endearing. Drink by 2030.
