Fermented in approximately 25% new and 75% one year old Burgundian oak barriques with weekly lees stirring over the first 4 months followed by a further 4 months barrel maturation.
Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated nectarine and apricot scents mix with hints of honeycomb, crème brulee and biscuity nougat notes. Rich, creamy textured flavours of peach and apricot fill the mouth with some honeycomb, crème brulee, biscuit and citrusy nougat characters lingering through the back half. Finishes with a long, well endowed and amply fleshed ending.
