From a 35 year old Rutherglen vineyard this wine has an opaque dark red black tinged colour along with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromas mix with some toasty oak and peppered earth notes. Juicy dark cherry fruits drive the mid weighted palate with some liquorice, toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice elements in the background. Fine grained tannins concluding with modest length.
