2022 Pedestal Chardonnay

Fermented and matured in French oak for 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Enticing white peach and nectarine scents greet the nostrils followed by subtle biscuity nougat, dried honey and gun flint notes. Generous, fleshy textured white peach and nectarine fruits decorate the mid weighted palate with dried honey, biscuity nougat and delicate infusions of gun flint lying underneath. Full of flavour and intensely concentrated it finishes with fresh acidity and a long mouth filling conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
