A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo aged in large oak for approximately 16 months. Deep black dark red core with a dark red hue. Drifting from the glass are aromas of red currant infused with a mix of rose petals and dried herbs followed by some earth and spice notes. The mid weighted palate carries some rustic charm with red currant and red cherry fruits melding into a back drop of earth, tobacco and spicy dried herb characters. Bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins concluding fresh and savoury.
