This is an excellent amber wine, the extended skin maceration woven across lifted riffs on orange blossom, apricot pith, ginger chutney and noble bitters, meshed with some pucker at the finish. The spread, expansive across the palate. The feel, richer than the lowish (12.7%) alcohol suggests due to the nourishment of grape skins and lees. An absolutely delicious wine, built for the freethinking table. Drink or hold.
