Based on La Côte, complemented by En Carmentrant, the 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé C. C. is forward and expressive, delivering aromas of orange oil, peach, nutmeg and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate that remains lively and dynamic.

The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé C.C contains only free-run juice from the north part of the Roche de Vergisson on clayey soils. One of my favorite aromatics from Guffens this year, it delivers beautiful white peach, pear and almond scents, becoming a little fumé in style with aeration. The palate is supremely well-balanced with a slightly viscous texture. The acidity maintains tension and delivers the requisite salinity on the finish. Very fine. Drink 2025-2035.
