2022 First Drop Mother’s Milk Shiraz

Matured for 10 months in seasoned French oak hogsheads. Dense inky black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced dark plum and liquorice aromas are followed by some black cherry, dried herb, earth and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Rich blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits carry a full plush feel over the palate with vanillin cedar, dried herb and pepper characters extending their way across the back half. Polished yet sturdy tannin framework with an opulent and deeply fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
