The Sauvignon Blanc that put New Zealand wine on the map has had a substantial packaging revamp. Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Leaping out of the glass are powerful scents of passionfruit, gooseberry and lime which are complimented by some herbaceous grassy notes and minerals. Mouth watering passionfruit, ripe gooseberry, lime and green apple fruits are delivered with terrific intensity and drive. Lingering in the background are subtle nuances of herbaceous grassy characters and flinty mineral elements. Crunchy acidity finishing long and scrumptious.
