Matured in French oak. Dark red in colour with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Pronounced violet and anise aromas intermix with black cherry, strawberry, earth and a whiff of varnish. Rich black cherry, anise and strawberry fruits are underpinned by lively acidity with some sour cherry and spicy earth characteristics lingering through the back half. Polished tannins with a bright mid length finish.
