Matured for 18 months in oak hogsheads. Dense inky black in colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and mocha are complimented by vanillin oak, earth and spice notes. Rich fleshy dark plum, blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours meld into a toasty vanillin oak, earth and pepper back drop. Bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins provide structure. Vibrant medium powered conclusion.
