2021 Two Paddocks The Last Chance Earnscleugh Pinot Noir
Light, supple entry finishing long and savoury.
Red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a semi translucent red hue. Escaping the glass are aromas of rhubarb, red cherry and anise which intermingle with hints of clove, bramble, earth and spice. Light and supple upon entry, spicy rhubarb, red cherry and strawberry fruits meld into a brambly back drop of earth and dried herbs. Fine grained tannins and fresh acidity, finishing long and savoury.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%
Other Reviews….
Fresh red currants, wild strawberries and rose hips followed by zesty citrus peel and cedar. Medium-bodied, refreshing acidity and firm yet finely-grained tannins. Underlying complex and savory minerality of mushrooms and wet leaves on the palate and finish. Serious depth and length. Piquant and zesty. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
