2021 Tomfoolery Young Blood Shiraz

Includes 30% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in a 50/50 mix of stainless steel vats and old French oak hogsheads for a period of 6 months. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Intense freshly crushed blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas mix with some vanillin bean, inky earth and spicy pepper notes. Inky blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits have a juicy feel over a back drop of scorched earth and spicy pepper. Bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins with a fresh mid length aftertaste showing a youthful inkiness.
