A blend of 90% Sangiovese with the balance made up of Canaiolo and Cilegiolo. Matured in stainless steel tanks for up to 8 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Aromas of red currants infused with dried herbs drift out of the glass followed by tobacco, earth and spice notes. Earthy and rustic the mid weighted palate features red cherry, dried herb, tobacco and spice flavours. Pronounced tangy blood orange like acidity and firm chalky tannins. Finishes dry, energetic and earthy.
